"I'm going to need a bigger ledger"
The camera opens on an aerial shot of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In the distance, 3 boats can be seen speeding through the Caribbean Sea, with 24 players on board.

SPENCER:
I haven’t won a Survivor ORG yet, although I’ve gotten close, so I am here to win, but to at least improve on how I’ve done, and try to keep a few friends along the way
-YALE:
-I am a very competitive person. I don’t like losing. I hate to lose more than I like to win. Just ask the kids I coach!
"ARI:"
"I'm just gonna have fun, what's the worst that can happen?"
$pecies: Today, 3 past champions and 21 new challengers are about to embark on an epic online adventure that they will never forget.
"MARIO:"
"im not going to be satisfied with anything other than winning and becoming $andra"
-CASCADE:
-my claim to fame is holding the record for most immunity win during the pre-merge.
+JONAH:
+didn't think $pecies would let me play a fourth time but I'm happy to be here
$pecies: 42 days… 24 people… 1 $urvivor!
Day 01
After spending 24 hours communicating solely with emojis and sizing up their competition, the 24 $urvivors arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico for the adventure of a lifetime. They were each given $40,000 in their quest to become $ole $urvivor.
But almost immediately upon landing in Puerto Rico, the game began. Contestants were immediately sequestered on day one for the Circle of Corruption twist, where each person was given a $martphone that allowed them to communicate to the people in their adjoining hotel rooms.
Also in their hotel rooms - a drawer with an extra $1,700… and a twist. If players grabbed the same amount of money as their CoC neighbor, they’d be fined $1,700 instead of grabbing any cash. The three greediest players would also get their amounts deducted instead of added.
+COOL:
+Obviously I'd like some change in my pocket. But I don't want that much change in my pocket
Some started thinking cash right away...
"IZ:"
"Currently deciding if I should aim to take a value like $500, $1000, or some, easy value because I feel like if most people think the same way anyone who is risk-averse/rational would do so, they'd want to minimize the chances of obtaining the same value as anyone else, and as a result, they might assume that generating a more pseudo-random value like $385, $1387, etc, would increase the chances of them taking a more unique sum of cash"
...while others used the time to get to know their neighbors.
"WADE:"
"Heidi is honestly the best. She's older like me, so we bonded about that, and were just having great conversations overall. I haven't talked as much with her since we marooned, but I'd definitely want to meet up with her again and would definitely play with her, corruption money be damned."
After sequester, the contestants were divided into three tribes of eight, each named for areas in and around San Juan: Bayola, Condado, and Miramar. Each tribe was led by a captain, who had won a previous season of $urvivor.
Wearing green, $eychelles winner Jonah was put in charge of Bayola. His tribe included Cool, Heidi, Luka, Nivy, Sachi, Spencer, and Yousef.
Wearing purple, $iem Reap champion Cascade took the helm of Condado. His tribemates included Anna, Awesome, Depature, Fifi, Fones, Sid, and Yale.
And wearing blue, $arawak winner Mario took the lead on Miramar. On his tribe were Alec, Aniya, Ari, Cow, Foxy, Iz, and Wade.
Reaction to the returning champions was mixed among the new contestants.
+COOL:
+WHAT THE FUCK RETURNING WINNERS?
-ANNA:
-omg its always scary to play with returnees but i hope to become friends with them rather than target them
"ALEC:"
"I actually like the fact that there are 3 returning champions. For one, I will definitely not have to worry about being seen as a threat any time soon (tbh I probably wouldn't have been seen as a threat anyways). But also I feel as though the captains are going to feel paranoid about being a threat and getting targeted. I think I can take advantage of this by being someone who is eager to be 'taken under their wing.'
All three tribes went back to their camps to get to know each other, and prepare for the game’s first challenge.
Day 02 - Reward Challenge
The tribes’ first challenge was for reward in the form of extra cash - a challenge called Poetic Injustice. Each tribe had to come up with a corruption-themed poem. The only rules were each poem had to contain at least eight lines and one of the words “corrupt,” “corrupted,” or “corruption.” After putting all three poems to a spec vote, each of the members of the winning tribe would receive $1,000, and a 7% boost in the following challenge, while members of the second place tribe would get a $700 bonus.
With the reward challenge underway, the socializing began on all three tribes. It was evident no one wanted to be the first to go. Over on Miramar, Foxy felt like an outsider…
'FOXY:'
"so i believe everyone on my tribe is in an American time zone with makes me the outsider, howevr ive been dealing with this issue since ive started playing ORGs, so i work on having more quality conversations the quantitiy, i have less time to make an impact on people so i HAVE to stand out or im done for, its something ive been working in for over a year and gotten good at it, we shall see how this holds up in the big leagues tho"
…Mario found himself on the outside of the newbies, despite Alec hoping to use a champion in the game to his advantage…
"ALEC:"
"I want to work with Goose because I like him as a shield, but I feel like he needs to step up his tribe involvement a little bit or he might be in trouble later because the others are bonding fast."
…and the first alliance of the game was formed: #aniya-ari-iz
"Ari: let's keep this between us on the down low for now
Iz: yeah for sure
Ari: but I think this'll be a good group
Iz: periodt"
On Condado, the social game moved quickly, with bonds forming between several different castaways. But one person found themselves quickly on the outs.
-FONES:
-I think I've vibed with Depature the least. He doesn't really strike me as someone who's a threat, necessarily, but I just don't know if I want to work with him because conversations seem to just flow harder between us. There's nothing against him as a person, I just don't think we'll get along too well. Again, I've only talked to him a little bit so this may change drastically, but for now, if I had to vote someone off, it'd be him.
And on Bayola, Cool thought the beginning of the game was moving slow…
+COOL:
+I don't know, there's no real feeling of urgency in the game yet to scramble and get into 8 million alliances. I'm sure it will come, but for now I'm feeling pretty good about where I stand and how things are going.
…while Nivy worried about her ability to keep up with the time zone difference.
+NIVY:
+I am also little concerned about my timezone, I couldn't be here around to help my tribe with the challenge. So if we end up going to tribal, there is a high chance that its going to be me because , Someone could bring this issue as a factor stating "she is from a different timezone and not here around to help much, it could affect our future challanges"
At the reward challenge, Bayola proved themselves to be this season’s $hakespeare, earning 69 spec votes on their poem. Cool, Heidi, Jonah, Luka, Nivy, Sachi, Spencer, and Yousef all earned themselves $1,000 and a 7% boost in the next challenge. Miramar came in second with 33 votes, giving Alec, Aniya, Ari, Cow, Foxy, Iz, Mario, and Wade each a $700 bonus. In last with 20 votes was Condado, sending them back to camp empty-handed.
Day 03 - Impunity Challenge
On Day 3, Bayola, Condado, and Miramar went head to head in their first impunity challenge (impunity meaning exemption from punishment, like pirates often operated with centuries ago). The first impunity challenge was a $urvivor classic: Monopoly. Each castaway had to bid on three tiles - 22 of them for points that could help their tribe win impunity, and four $elfish tiles that could help them later on in the game. The two tribes with the highest number of points would win impunity, while the losers would head to Tribal Council.
While the castaways tried to figure out how to spend their cash, different strategies started to emerge. Alec tried to use the Circle of Corruption twist to help Miramar and Condado gang up on Bayola. Yale and other members of Condado approached their offer with caution.
-YALE:
-It also appears that blue is reaching out to their purple neighbors about targeting green with us. I guess a couple of my tribe mates have received messages similar to this. I am super sus of this because they could easily be trying to play us and green to ensure their own safety. I think we should just focus on ourself this challenge and roll that way. Not mess with other tribes at all. I think it could screw us in the long run.
And on Bayola, Luka did the math in hopes of helping secure a win for his tribe.
+LUKA:
+What I am thinking may be the best strategy is perhaps bidding like $2000 - $2500 on 8 properties and bidding $1 on the rest.
Spencer underperformed, putting his tribe on high alert.
+COOL:
+Spencer was supposed to split up another monopoly and we got outbid BUT Jonah actually had the idea to throw like $5 with our other bids. This worked really well because we ended up winning 2 properties with $5 bids...
+All in all, I was super pumped to win but Spencer not winning is just not a great look. If we lose, he just appears to be around less than everyone else even today. I don't know what's going on with him, but I do think at this point he's in a LOT of hot water if we end up going to Tribal Council.
Depature’s instincts earned him power in the game - the jail tile, which isolated one member of the winning tribe from the rest of their tribemates.
-DEPATURE:
-I felt that I had a strong shot of getting it as I thought other players would be too scared to bid on it. So my low 16 bid got me the jail tile.
And despite Condado and Miramar trying to work together…
$PECIES:
Condado didn't win any tile of their own color zone but 5 other tiles to earn 1,620 points
while Bayola swept the remaining 8 property tiles, earning them 1,930 points.
With the reward boost, their final points = 2,065.1
which means
Bayola WINS IMPUNITY!
…Bayola edged them out for impunity, sending Condado to Tribal Council.
Day 04 - Condado Tribal Council
The following morning, Condado woke up to a message in a bottle, detailing a surprise twist for their first trip to Tribal Council…
-ANNA:
-Please note that all types of idols (micro/normal/macro) will NOT be playable at the first tribal council of the $eason later tonight......Why? Because, for the first time ever in the history of $urvivor, the host will not read out the votes one by one but to directly announce who is eliminated after receiving the most number of votes against them at tribal council!
…forcing the members Condado to scramble for safety. Over the course of the day, Awesome, Fones, and Yale linked up to create the #triple-threat alliance. They added Anna to form a foursome called #the-golden-girls. That’s when Awesome threw out Fifi’s name to Depature in an attempt to give him a decoy answer for the upcoming vote - and Depature tried to make a move.
-AWESOME:
-So Dep and I were talking and I asked him what he thought about Fifi and he said "I don't really have a relationship with her" then proceeded to ask me about sid, fones, and anna all in a row. No real ground was made here, no big deal. BUT THEN Dep went and told Sid, Fones, and Fifi that I was throwing her name out
-DEPATURE:
-Awesome more or less threw out Fifi’s name in our discussion and I like Fifi and trust her much so I tried to bring up Fones name. Awesome seems to be an ally of Fones (and potentially Milk) so I think that Awesome’s plan was to get Fifi out because her time zone doesn’t make her around as much. Fifi wasn’t around during this time so I campaigned on her behalf to try to get Fones out.
Awesome grew concerned that Fifi and Anna were closer than he thought (and unbeknownst to him, they were in a separate alliance with Sid called #misunderstood-since-birth). So to help his case, Awesome suggested to Anna that they add Fifi to their alliance of four, making it the fivesome of #the-sailor-scouts.
-AWESOME:
-kinda got a clue that Fifi/Anna may be closer than we'd think. So that Fifi didn't feel like that I was indeed trying to target her I asked Anna "hey, what if we add Fifi to the alliance too?" So that sells the narrative of Meanie Depature rather than me trying to take her out
And Depature - who used his jail power to send Ari on Miramar to jail - realized his push to save Fifi may have cost him the game.
(edited)
-DEPATURE:
-I feel as though in my attempt to protect Fifi I may have inadvertently made myself a target and I could be going home but if that’s the case then I really don’t mind since I’m against this whole “whatever the majority decides” nonsense; much rather go home knowing that I fought tooth and nail protecting an ally than to be a bystander.
Fifi heard she was in trouble, taking note of what she was hearing regarding the vote…
-FIFI:
-apparently my name is being thrown around because I have a ~ bad timezone ~ which is like... uhm ok and now Dep is asking us to vote for Fones, with Yale and Sid and force a tie.
- according to Awesome, Fones and Anna, Dep is overplaying hard and throwing people under the bus just to cause chaos but it could obviously also just be them covering their tracks from throwing my name in the first place, Awesome in particular.
…and celebrating a successful bid on the $eason’s first idol token in Monopoly.
-FIFI:
-randomly threw a bid in the impunity challenge to get the gold token. I threw a mere $27 and ta-dah I got an idol token. best $27 spent I would say? I can't do anything with the idol token but hey any positive I can get, I'll take. don't count this bitch out yet
It was a historic Tribal Council for Condado - the first time ever in $urvivor that the votes were not read one by one. Instead, $pecies announced the result outright, without the vote count, leaving everyone who voted in the minority to collect a Minority Handout of $1,000. And in the end, Depature’s lack of connections on Condado led to his torch getting snuffed.
$pecies: Depature I'm sure for your early depature. Pun intended.
Depature: Depature the tribe has decided NOW is the time for your departure
$pecies: It's time for your departure, Depature.
$PECIES:
Well, congrats on making it through your first tribal council in this game. Was it an unanimous vote or was it divided? Guess you will never know if anyone claimed for minority handout but I hope this bring your tribe closer together and we won't see you back here too soon.
Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night!
Final Words
[DEPATURE]
[My fears have been confirmed. I’m the one going home. I took a shot to protect my ally and it failed. Turns out that Fifi - the person I am trying to protect - was the one that flipped on me so it’s going to really be 7v1. There’s no hard feelings. Fortunately I didn’t play the game too long to get too emotionally invested in the game so I’m not hurt. It was fun while it lasted.]

ANNA
im not voting ❤️ im tryin to get cashh
AWESOME
Depature and I didn't really get off to the best start, and nothing here has made me think that we could work together well. This first vote is too risky to do anything other than vote here, so I'm going to cast my vote for depature.
CASCADE
((blank vote))
DEPATURE
-no reason given-
FIFI
Sorry Depature, thing the last few days we connected better but this is what the majority wants
![□ □](https://twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/72x72/1f626.png)
FONES
BITCH ASS HOE. WHY U TRYNA THROW ME AND FIFI'S NAME OUT HUH? I RLLY HOPE U GO HOME. AND THE FONES STAY FONES
SID
(vote for Depature)
This is to protect another ally, I'm looking at the longer run. I cannot build bridges, I need to swim across.
YALE
This vote sucks because I think you’re awesome, but I need to think about my own game. If Cascade wasn’t immune then it wouldn’t have been you, but this is just how the cookie crumbles. Stay awesome.
