After playing his idol correctly at the previous tribal council, Borges found an idol token and made a pact with former rival Vikram to work together while Nerf was thinking of new ways to pit Borges and Jonas against each other.
At the immunity challenge, the castaways splashed some cash to spin the Wheel of Fortune. Bloody considered throwing the challenge but surprised herself by winning individual immunity for the third time.
Things got messy between Borges, Nerf and Jonas, as all three threw the others under the bus. Bloody’s main priority was to protect Borges while Jessica tried to be a peacemaker between Borges and Nerf to get them to split up the duo of Jonas and Sophie. It did not quite work as Borges heard from Jonas, Moss and Simon that Nerf was turning on him while Nerf grew outraged at Borges for threatening his jury vote. In the end, Borges and Bloody decided to blindside Jessica and Vikram to take out Nerf in a 6-3 vote.
8 are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

NIGHT 32
ALQAMAR
The Final 8 return to camp after voting out Nerf.
Simon | @Alqamar
I'm not surprised at all by what happened at tribal because Nerf did that to himself. He was in the perfect spot in the game going into merge, but his paranoia destroyed his game. He was running around throwing all possible people under the bus, praying that it would save his game, but that worked differently, and he put a huge target on his back.
Borges | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
I’M NOT GOING HOME! I’M NOT GOING HOME! Tribal was pretty simple in terms of names since only 3 wandered around but definitely the messiest since everyone was saying what the other wanted to hear. I broke the promise I made to Nerf but that’s just because he broke it first, or at least it’s what I had heard. I could have been played by Jonas but even so I can just say I was manipulated into it, which won't be a lie as well. Vikram can’t really be mad at me for lying to him since he forgave Nerf after not telling him the vote before last round.
Vikram | @Alqamar
Well I didn't expect Nerf to just abandon me like this when I didn't vote him. That's not good. He dug his own grave though. He should've trusted me with the plan to vote Jonas. I'm not happy with Borges and Bloody lying to me and Bloody being a Borges' goat. And Moss too as she didn't reveal what she was doing but she is my possible end game ally here. I really have nice end game plans. Borges now, Jonas, Simon and Sophie next and then Bloody, leaving me/Jess/Moss as the Final 3 where I can win. There is a long way to go, so anything can happen but I'm confident in myself. If I make it to the end, I hope the jury sees the positive side of my game.
Jessica | @Alqamar
I don't know why no one in this game trusts me. I feel like I’m just being dragged at this point and no one cares about my voice. I’ve tried being nice and polite, I’ve tried being bold, I don’t know what people want more from me. I’m taking a break for a bit, tonight I’ll try to figure something out but for now I feel like I’m about to explode.
Moss | @Alqamar
I was surprised tribal went as planned. I kinda thought Sophie would make a move and flip it but I guess she's playing it safer, so I am happy that it went off as planned. Jess is pissed at Borges, which is good cuz I told Borges to vote her at Final 10 and now he lied to her about this vote, so hopefully that will bring her closer to me.
Sophie | @Alqamar
I’m really sad about last tribal, for multiple reasons. I didn’t want Nerf gone. I saw how little the value of my opinion holds in the game, especially with people I call my allies. When I was trying to break the bond I have with Jonas by talking to Jessica, I was forced right back into Jonas’ hand.
Jonas | @Alqamar
I’m a little bit surprised by the outcome of last tribal, to be honest. I felt like that was the wrong move for Bloody/Borges to have made there, but I will not complain as it was to my benefit. I may have got more votes this time around but I got to cross another name off my revenge list and didn't have to add anyone new. Only three left on the list: Jessica, Bloody, Vikram.
Bloody | @Alqamar
Upon reflection, I do think we could have gotten Jonas out in that last vote. but I still think it's better for my game with him here vs Nerf. He's a big meat target for players, and a highly visible enemy to me, which deprioritizes me in the pecking order. So long as he doesn't get petty too quickly and try to blindside a bitch, I think I can survive this round, not sure I can say the same about Borges though...
Jessica | @Alqamar
I honestly felt so crushed last night as I tried so hard to make everything go perfectly. Borges convinced me and reassured me so much that he was voting with me, it just hurt really bad to see that something I put a lot of effort into was all for nothing because of a stupid rivalry that I couldn’t control. But it’s whatever, I'm still here and I’m going to be putting in my effort again to try to save myself and get something to go my way.
Borges | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
Is it now where we start thinking of jury management? Zach hates me, Nerf won't vote for me in any scenario, and I'll give that to him since I [bleep]ed up by threatening him with my jury vote. I took Clink out but I got legitimacy, Deaze gave me half of his Legacy of Love but may be mad, Jess hates me and will even more when I try to get her out. Let’s see it all on the bright side and try to get further by not being targeted because I won’t get jury votes. Yayyy!
Moss | @Alqamar
People are talking about Borges and Simon being threats, which kinda surprises me. What about me? I literally pushed the last 3 vote outs. I’m getting a little worried that if these people compare notes, I’m done. Me and Vik have a secret Final 2, which I know he has with others but he doesn't know I know. However, he’s kinda not happy with me for lying to him about my vote. I did some damage control, telling him Nerf told me Vik said the vote is Borges - which is true. I don't know if he believes me, but it would be nice to still have him on the side because everyone can act all crazy here. I hope Nerf was talking about me when he left tribal council yesterday and how he’ll campaign for me, but I don’t think so. I don’t think the jury likes me. The jury already hates me and will only get saltier and saltier when I turn on all these people.
Borges | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
Just to say something that I think no one has realized. Right now, the person most well positioned and set for FTC is Moss. She has Simon and me that love her 100%. She has Jonas now and Sophie still trusts her, so it isn't a closed door. She has Vikram who also loves her. She is the ONLY player not to have received any votes and probably won't for a while.
Vikram | @Alqamar
This game has been grand and intense! It can be stressful at times but the fact that I am in the Final 8 of such a competitive game is just awesome. I love the cast, even though I had feuds and stuff. I know many of us would be friends post-game. I love my journey as a whole - being a one man army.
Sophie | @Alqamar
I’m just kind of done with everyone in the game, except Jonas. Nerf and Jonas were the only people I enjoyed and now that Nerf is out, I’m just kind of stuck. I tried to target Moss but Jonas and Simon would never go for it. They hold too much trust in her and I have too little trust everywhere else. I kind of guilt-tripped Jonas last night though, so hopefully, he’s involving me more in what we do from now on.
Vikram found an idol token at the Mail $tation but had to sell it - he sold it to Moss anonymously at $3,043.
Vikram | @Alqamar
I haven't told anyone that I found this advantage. I don't trust 6 of these people and I can't tell Moss that it was me as I didn't want her to know I asked her for more money like that. I’m glad it’s she who has it.
Moss | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
Oh fun! It could literally be anyone that sold me this idol token. If they're like me, they extort their closest allies. I think it's Simon or Sophie, if I had to guess. They're people who I'm working with who wanted to keep the token with an ally but still get cash from them. 3k is pretty hefty, I will have to spend nothing in the next challenge to balance it off. Speaking of which, Jonas and I both found a challenge extortion advantage that will expire this round. So I have to decide soon. Jonas is using his on Bloody or Vikram and I'm thinking Borges, but then he'll feel targeted.
(edited)
Borges’ systematic way of searching for advantages around camp had paid off. He found two idol tokens and a vote extortion advantage within a day.
Borges | @Alqamar - 3 Idol Tokens
I HAVE ANOTHER IDOL! I’m sooooo happy right now. I had no luck at the beginning and now it all came. I got 3 tokens and Moss got 1. It’s almost a royal idol if I combine mine with Moss. I told her I got one last night. So she only knows I got 1. And I also found a vote extortion, which is THE BEST extortion advantage I've seen yet!

$pecies: Come on in, guys!
The castaways march in.
$pecies: First thing first, Bloody, I'll take back the golden immunity necklace.
Bloody returns the necklace to $pecies.
$pecies: Once again, immunity is back up for grabs. I assume most if not all of you are familiar with the Mastermind game?
Jonas: Literally not at all.
$pecies: Alright, I can explain further. Today you're playing in Mastermind (Bidding Edition)! It is done through a series of duels, tournament style.
In each duel, first, you must come up with a 3-digit code, without revealing it to your opponent. Your code, made up of 3 different digits, will represent the bid amount you are spending for the duel. Once you and your opponent have both set your own codes, you will take turns to guess the other person's code. After one player has made their guess, their opponent must reveal how many digits of the guess were in the exact correct position and how many were included but in the wrong position.
To win your duel, you must correctly guess what your opponent's 3-digit code is before they get yours. Who you will be competing against in the first and second round will be randomized. Two players will advance to the final round in which the winner will win immunity and a guaranteed spot in the Final 7!
Borges: OMG! Duels sound fun.
Simon: I just want to say that I'm not playing in this challenge because two monsters played extortion on me and I'm forced to pay $5,800 if I want to win this immunity.
Vikram: I too got extorted for $1,900 and I prolly will be paying it, so whoever that was, I hope you get eliminated with that money in your pocket useless for anything!
$pecies: Well, I can confirm that Simon and Vikram will not be eligible to win this challenge unless they choose to pay the amount they have been extorted for.
Vikram, Simon, you will still take part even if you don't pay up, as you could still block your opponent from advancing in this challenge. We will now do the random draw to see who will face off against whom.
Draw rocks.
$pecies: Alright, we’ve got four great matchups for the first round! Have fun code-breaking!
Duel 1: Vikram vs Jonas
Duel 2: Bloody vs Jessica
Duel 3: Borges vs Moss
Duel 4: Simon vs Sophie

Borges | @Alqamar - 3 Idol Tokens
Ugh Vikram sounds fake with me today and he might think I played that disadvantage on him when I know it was Jonas but I can't say it because if I do, I’d be throwing Simon under the bus. Poor Simon also got the “no challenge” extortions played on him. He is saying people will be gunning for me, but they won't do that if they want numbers, so do I tell him they'll gun for him instead? I think nah or he may get paranoid before I want him to and take the target away from him.
Simon | @Alqamar
I think that the extortion advantage was played by Jonas on me. I'm going to not pay anything for that because it is actually a good thing for me to save some money for later if I can survive this round. This challenge is pretty easy to win because there are basically 720 possible outcomes for each duel. But since I’m not paying, there is no chance that I will win this challenge. Even If I make it to the final duel, I would get 2nd place at best here.
Moss | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
Simon never paid for my extortion, which I played against him anonymously before the challenge. It would’ve been good to have that money. (laughs) I think we all need immunity because you never know what happens. I think Jonas is always at risk because people see him as a big threat and he's always a target.
Jonas | @Alqamar
My main strategy here is kinda just not to spend a lot of money really. On a scale of 1-10 how badly do I want to win is like a 5 because I'm really competitive but I know I can't be spending a lot of money, so I don’t care. Who do I think needs the immunity? Borges or Vik probably since those are the two people with their names on the chopping block so far as I'm aware. Although it's never a complete tribal without my name being thrown out there (rolls eyes).
Bloody | @Alqamar
I’ve never played something like Mastermind before but I feel like there’s a bit of a strategy to it. So each three number combination I guess should have different numbers each time for the first three or four rounds to identify what numbers are in it. It should also give me some understanding on placement as well. But I’m not sure if this is my challenge to win. I do think I can probably win against Jess in the first round at least. In terms of if I want to go for the win or not, I want to see who wins between Jonas and Vikram in the first match. If it's against Vikram, I've toyed with the idea of letting him win to reinforce our relationship, since I kind of voted his number 1 ally out last tribal. In terms of who badly needs to win it, I'd put Borges pretty close to the top of that list, but also could see a Jess or Moss going in the next round, also of course worried about my own position.

$pecies: We have the results for Round 1!
QF1: Jonas eliminated Vikram.
QF2: Bloody eliminated Jessica.
QF3: Borges eliminated Moss.
QF4: Simon eliminated Sophie.
Vikram, Jessica, Moss, Sophie, take a seat on the bench. For Round 2, we will have Jonas vs Bloody and Borges vs Simon.
Jonas and Borges beat Bloody and Simon respectively to advance to the final round.
$pecies: Let’s see who wins the final $howdown between Jonas and Borges!
Jonas: I’m ready whenever you are, Borges.
Borges: 123
Jonas: 1 in the incorrect position, 0 in the exact position. 368
Borges: I- 2 in the exact position. 209
Jonas: 1 in the exact right position. 378
Borges: 1 in the exact right position. 264
Jonas: 1 in the exact right position. 364
Borges: 2 in the exact right position. 285
Jonas: 1 in correct position, 1 in incorrect position. 362
Borges: 2 in exact position. Ugh, this is tense! 278
Jonas: 1 in correct position, 1 in incorrect position. 360
Borges: [BLEEP]! You got it! Ugh I was on 50%.
Jonas: What’s your next guess before I reveal my code?
Borges: 257. The only left.
Jonas: You would’ve got it.
Borges: Yea. Ughhh. Congrats though.
$pecies: A very close match indeed! This is how we do it in $urvivor!
JONAS WINS IMMUNITY!
Jonas wears the necklace while everyone else claps their hands unenthusiastically.
$pecies: Congratulations, Jonas! You’re safe. As for everybody else, one of you will join the jury next, which should make for a lot of scrambling.
And oh, before you grab your stuff and head back to camp. I have something to share with for you all...
Vikram: Oh boy!
Sophie: No twists, please!
$pecies: For the first time ever, there is an extortion twist that has been played against the whole tribe!
If you as a tribe do not give up at least $8,000, none of your voting parchments cast would be shown at the next tribal council. This means that collectively you must spend at least 8k or we would announce who is voted out without revealing the vote count. Idol tokens and other advantages are still valid to be played here even if the parchments won't be read one by one.
What if there was a tie? In such scenario, we would announce who were involved in the tie without revealing the vote count, unless you pay the 8k. A revote would then take place where the vote count won't be revealed either.
Jonas: Guys, can we agree not to pay it? I’m too poor and who cares about the suspense of reading them one at a time.
Sophie: If a sugar daddy wants to pay, feel free.
$pecies: It's completely up to you if you want to pay or not. Vote reveal or not, you'll have to figure out who to vote out. See you later at tribal.

Jonas | @Alqamar ️
The challenge was fun. It’s fun getting lucky and winning like that and also using big brain strategies to defeat someone who is ahead of you. ME HITTING THAT WIN AT THE LAST SECOND! NOT JUST TO WIN IMMUNITY, BUT SO BORGES DIDN'T. Also I think this one actually counts. I don’t know if I'd count the others as a WIN, since all I did was trick Nerf last time and bid the most in the auction. BUT THIS ONE, THIS ONE COUNTS! You know how the saying goes? "For all the marbles." Well this wasn't that, but it was for a lot of marbles.
Bloody | @Alqamar
Thank GOD I didn't win, because the optics of me vs Borges going head to head in the final duel would have been too much. Counterintuitive maybe, but I was hoping for Jonas to win it, which would mean Borges is still vulnerable. I think Jonas will just chill the [bleep] out for a bit with immunity but last time around he made a seven person alliance without us, so who knows.
Moss | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
I’m happy that Jonas won. I threw my round to Borges because I didn’t wanna spend any money after spending 3k to buy the idol token and I also wanted to look less threatening to him and build trust with it.
Borges | @Alqamar - 3 Idol Tokens
I don't NEED to win it honestly. I want the Final 7 challenge instead. I went through 2 rounds of this challenge by only spending $49 since my allies let me win both duels, so I won’t complain. I think Jonas does need immunity the most because I don't see Vikram going to rocks for him.
Simon | @Alqamar
My main goal was to make sure that Borges would win this challenge because he has a huge target on his back, so he needed to win this challenge, but he flopped so badly. Personally I enjoyed the challenge a lot because it forced me to think a little more. I'm disappointed with the results though because I wanted Borges to win immunity so that he would keep his idol, which he told me about earlier.
Jessica | @Alqamar
The results were fine I guess - I don’t really care who won as either way there’s someone who I would really like out and, well, I didn't prepare much for the challenge as I should and over-shared with Bloody. Oh well, it was a fun and interesting challenge anyway.
Sophie | @Alqamar
It was a bangin’ challenge, I’m just a bit dumb, so I’m awful at stuff like Mastermind because A, not good at math andprobability, B, I legit forgot one was a number. I needed more sleep!
Vikram | @Alqamar
I love Mastermind but it seems like I ain’t a big mastermind! The one thing I noticed from the challenge was how there was a natural division in Round 1 where threats eliminated non-threats. We ain’t letting that happen in the game, baby! I want to see all those Round 1 winners gone. I’m glad Jonas won immunity and he will now be in on my plan to vote out Borges for sure. And I’m glad that Borges didn’t win. If he won, I would have needed to vote Bloody, which would have sucked.

DAY 34
ALQAMAR
With tribal council looming, everyone is scrambling hard again.
Jessica | @Alqamar
Hmmm I’m not quite sure of the dynamics of this tribe. We have two duos - Borges and Bloody, then Sophie and Jonas. Apparently Simon is really close with Borges too. And then Moss - everyone loves her. Me? I’m there - no one likes me I guess, and Vikram is just there as well. Sooo like it’s just a mess.
Vikram | @Alqamar
I said I will make moves from Final 8 onwards. Now I am on a mission. Borges and Bloody are a duo and it kills me, who is a lone warrior, to see that’s a package right there. They have one person to trust 100% which I don’t have now. Also Bloody just followed Borges on Nerf’s vote which was stupid and I wasn’t happy. So let's split them up. Borges is a big threat and he said that if I go after him, then he will come after me. I’m subtly going after him now by using a key talk with Jonas and now the plan is set. It’s gonna be a nice blindside! I think he will go home and this is MY move that I can claim in the end. And I'm sure I will make it to the end.
Jonas | @Alqamar ️
Bloody and Borges are a duo, I’m very close with Sophie which everyone knows, and I’m even closer with Moss which no one knows about. Everyone thinks Simon and Moss are a duo. Simon gets on my damn nerves now. He is protecting Borges by leaking to Borges the plan to vote out either Bloody or Borges.
Simon | @Alqamar
The dynamics of this tribe are really complicated because all people have different agendas at this point in the game. Yesterday before the challenge, Vik came to me with an idea to split Borges and Bloody duo because they lied to him at the last tribal. That's not really Borges’ fault because I convinced Borges to vote for Nerf instead of Jonas there. Anyway, Vik came to Jonas and me with his plan because he sees us two as leaders of the second side. But I would say that there are no two sides at the moment. Jessica is who I want to target tonight but I'm not sure if I would be able to bring Jonas and Borges to one side once again. It worked last tribal but it might backfire to my face going into this tribal.
Sophie | @Alqamar
I’m kind of in an angsty mood right now. People have duos that they’re tryna keep secret, then go around exposing the most ridiculous shit to others, like Simon leaking the vote on Borges to Borges, then there are people like Moss who gets mad because it exposes her when she was tryna act all innocent. Everyone just wants their own taste of the drama and I’m just tired but I deal with the shit they throw day by day. Jess has the anger of Borges against her, but because Simon leaked about the vote on Borges, the wrath of Borges will probably come down on me because Jonas is immune and people always associate Jonas and me, perpetuating the situation they’re mad about - him and I having a duo.
Moss | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
The dynamics are interesting. I’ll say it again, Jonas/Sophie, Bloody/Borges - those are the duos. Vik is floating, Jess is floating but hates Borges and doesn’t like Jonas. I’m in a trio with Jonas/Sophie, a trio with Borges/Simon and a duo with Vik. Simon is hard pushing me right now to do Jess. He wants Jess gone so that Jonas/Sophie keep targeting Bloody/Borges next, which makes sense but I also want to weaken Borges/Simon by getting rid of Bloody. If Bloody stays, they have a solid 3, maybe 4 if needed through Vik. So if Bloody goes, they have less options.
Borges | @Alqamar - 3 Idol Tokens
Well, Vikram was already throwing my name around. Simon told me and asked me not to tell Bloody but she was defending Vikram to me and it didn't sound fair. I trust her not to tell anyone since she never did. She also wanted to vote Jess but now we just want to stay alive. And I’m considering playing a micro idol if it may tie.
Bloody | @Alqamar
Y’ALL THIS GAME. Borges told me has an idol now AND also a vote extortion. In my opinion, we should not play the vote extortion but rather lay quiet and see where votes are falling. Borges agreed with me, like let's not play it right now because it’d show our cards that we are looking to cancel a vote, which means that we must have a third person that we're willing and able to rely upon for this vote.
Moss | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
This is not good.... I’m getting myself wrapped up in too many people. I mean, it's good for protection but when I start cutting people, oh boy. Bloody can go here but I think Borges will fight for her. Bloody is the last one left I don’t really talk to that much, and even though she’s just been hiding behind Borges/Simon/Vikram and not making moves, she's still an auto-vote for them at this stage, until later in the game when she’ll need to cut them because they all made more moves than her. I’m pretty sure people would be ok with doing Bloody because it breaks up Borges/Bloody. I think they want to do Borges more - I’ll just have to stop that and redirect it back to Bloody. Borges mentioned he has 2 tokens, so not enough for an idol - we talked about how we can combine our tokens if needed for an idol, so I don't think he would stick his neck out for Bloody in giving her stuff BUT he may tip her off she’s the vote and she could play something, so I have to investigate that.
Jonas | @Alqamar ️
My preferred target was Borges but I couldn’t get enough support for a Borges vote, so I will have to settle for the next best thing which is a Bloody vote. Hopefully all goes well and she goes without any idol play.
Sophie | @Alqamar
The ONLY time I hear game is from Jonas. I have to initiate it literally everywhere else and even when I do people are evasive or end the convo quickly, or in Bloody and Jess’ case, THEY DON’T [BLEEPING] TALK TO ME. It’s really hard not to just blow up on people, it’s so [bleeping] hard.
Borges | @Alqamar - 3 Idol Tokens
[Bleep]! Moss is targeting Bloody. That won't help. Moss didn't tell me my name was going around and I asked. Ughhhh, why does Moss have to make it so hard? Their plan is Simon, Moss, Sophie and Jonas on Bloody, and Vikram and Jessica on Borges. But that means Sophie and Jonas can easily decide to flip their votes on me and I’m out. I don't want to risk that. I need to work on Moss.
Bloody | @Alqamar
Right now it’s a 4-2 split between Borges and me, if we play the idol on whomever is getting the majority, maybe we can leverage on Simon to send home whomever we want. This game is so cute. Quite honestly, if we survive this round, it’s an eye for an eye with Vikram and me, so we can go back to being allies. Borges and Jonas take more of a threat hit, and we go into a new round where Borges clearly doesn’t have idol tokens on him and can take some votes. This is the BEST case scenario. Worst case is we get bad info, play the idol wrong, one of us goes home, but damn I love this game because my outlook and plan was TOTALLY DIFFERENT just 20 minutes ago.
Moss | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
So Borges was freaking out earlier - he doesn’t wanna lose Bloody and wants me to vote with him, Bloody, and Simon to make it 4-4. I said no. I’m not gonna cause so much drama to save Bloody, who I barely talk to. It doesn't really work for me, but I’m also not naive. He can get numbers to do someone like Sophie without me, because many people have been itching to do her. I just shifted the target from him to Bloody today - Jonas wanted Borges bad and I fought him to do Bloody. All of this hard work for Borges to now want Bloody safe too. Ohhh and he wants my token for an idol to play tonight, I said no. I said I’ll give him the token at Final 7 and he can then use it when they vote him but he still wasn't happy with that. He wants it now!
Borges | @Alqamar - 3 Idol Tokens
MOSS IS NOT LETTING ME HOLD ONTO HER TOKEN. I WANT IT. I NEED IT. I offered to buy her token and have 4 with me so that I can get the macro idol to play on me and Bloody to protect us.
Vikram | @Alqamar
Okay so I made a great plan to vote out Borges with Jonas and it was nearly successful until Simon threw a spanner in the works by deviating it towards Bloody. Bloody is my ally and I'm not voting her as she is the one Ienjoy talking to. Jonas doesn't consider Simon a threat and I don't want to vote someone because Simon wouldn't vote Borges. So I'm jumping ship. I'm doing what's best for my game. Also, Moss may be close with Simon, which is something to watch out for.
Sophie | @Alqamar
Honestly Vik is prolly in the most fluid position at the moment. I would prefer Borges to go since Borges threw Jonas and me under the bus last round but that plan was ruined. So now, even though I don't trust her as far as I can throw her, Jess could go for a vote to split up Bloody/Borges since Borges said he was going for her.
Jessica | @Alqamar
Vikram was originally dead set on doing Borges but I was able to convince him that Sophie is a bigger target and threat. Right now my mind is set on getting Sophie out of this game. She needs to go. It’s not even that fact that I’m mad Nerf is gone, I just wished I wasn’t lied to so much - it just felt like all my effort went crumbling down the drain. But I’ve calmed down and I’m still here, and I’m not a quitter so I will still be giving all my effort once again even if it fails. My plan now is to gather Simon, Moss, Borges and Bloody to vote out Sophie. It’s time for her to finally be gone and I think I might be able to pull it off?
Bloody | @Alqamar
Okay now there's some movement from Jess on starting a 4 person alliance with the UTRs of the $eason, and she'd rather take a bite out of the Jonas side of things, thank god. We have OPTIONS. We LOVE OPTIONS. As long as we can stay on top of the info while staying under the radar this vote, I think Jonas may just sink his own [bleeping] ship, or better yet... Sophie's. How cute would that be... if Borges didn't even have to play his idol and we retain an idol and vote extortion going into the next round… The important thing right now is to stay quiet. If Vikram catches wind I know about the proposed flip, it gives him more credence to see it through. Name of the game here is to be quiet and sit cutely as info pours in and play whichever card we need to play in the end.
Simon | @Alqamar
Also, we can't forget about Jessica who is crazy as well. She just brought me an idea to make a 4-person alliance of her, Vik, Moss and me. According to her plan, our 4 would decide who will be voted out, but Moss is ignoring her as Moss really wants Bloody out of the game.
Moss | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
OHHH Jess alert! We barely talked and she came to me out of nowhere. Another person that wants to work with me?? I can’t have any more, it's just gonna be more bridges to burn. All these people are talking to me, except for Bloody who’s on the chopping block and it’s silent. She’s having Borges do all the dirty work for her.
Vikram | @Alqamar
I talked with Bloody and I told her that Borges will outshine her and she will be seen as his goat. And guess what, she agreed and she understood that she couldn't claim anything as her independent move, and she said thanks for enlightening her and she wont tell it to him. That’s great for me as now, she will vote for him along with me when the right time comes. Then I talked with Borges, told him the truth and that Jonas threatened that I will be gone just like Nerf if I tell him this. Borges understood it and then told me he feels Simon is more with him than with Jonas. If true, that’s good for this vote as we can vote out Sophie. This twist of concealing votes at tonight’s tribal is great as I can lie to Jonas that I did vote Bloody.
Bloody | @Alqamar
Vikram and I talked. First off, can we take a beat to recognize how wonderful Vikram is? Just truly a sweet person and incredibly smart… but he spent the first half of our chat telling me I got to play my own game, which I agreed, yes I will eventually have to build my resume for FTC but first I gotta get there! This was a great opportunity because I’ve been meaning to tell him I regret keeping Jonas at last tribal and wanted to pin it on Borges wrapping me into a decision that wasn’t mine. Our chat today gave me the perfect opportunity. I think he really just wanted verbal confirmation that I am not going to stick with Borges until Final 2 and quite honestly, with Nerf out of the game now, he’s been dropping the “you’re my number 1” a lot and it’s very sweet.
Jessica | @Alqamar
I’ve spent most of the day talking to two people who I haven’t worked with much before this round, which is nice as it’s a new scenery and honestly what I should have done in the first place. I’ve been talking a lot with Vikram and Simon and us 3 have agreed that one of the power duo needs to be brought down. Now, I would love to eliminate Borges because he did me dirty and I truly just despise him right now, but I’m not putting my trust in Sophie’s hand anytime soon. Sophie is a much bigger threat and I must think strategically at this point and not emotionally. I also just talked with Borges and it went pretty well, I think he sounded sincere this time but we will see.
Bloody | @Alqamar
There's a current of people who are trying to get the vote flipped to Sophie which is amazing. Simon wants to do Sophie apparently - I still don't know if I trust that but we're gonna go with it. Borges also wants to do Sophie and I would love to do Sophie so that's where we are right now. Will we use an idol at tribal? I don't know... I think if we feel like the vote is still really iffy I think we will but at this point there might be a reality in which both him and I stay safe without playing any idol tokens.
Moss | @Alqamar - 1 Idol Token
Vik just told me he’s voting Sophie. So I know Borges/Bloody/Jess/Vik are doing Sophie, me/Jonas/Sophie are doing Bloody. Simon can either tie it or go with them. I’m curious because he clearly told me he's voting Bloody. Does he blatantly lie to me? That’s pretty bad ally management because it gives me the perfect reason to turn on him. What none of these people get is I don't care who goes. Now we just sit and wait and watch Sophie likely go home 5-3. Another option is that Simon does tie 4-4 to show loyalty to us and then flips on revote. I can see that too.
Borges | @Alqamar - 3 Idol Tokens
Moss seems so suspicious. If Vikram turned Moss against me, I'll blame myself forever for being voted out with an idol and a vote extortion. I’m so torn and afraid to get out tonight. Someone told Sophie that Simon leaked it all but that could be a bluff. Now I think I might do a dumb move. I am thinking about throwing a vote to defend myself. If they play an idol on Sophie, I will play mine on Bloody, but the chance of they having a vote on me is [bleeping] huge. I don't trust Moss much now. If I get out I will feel so [bleeping] dumb.
$pecies ⚖
29-Aug-21 02:42 AM
All eight remaining members of Alqamar arrive at tribal council.
$pecies: We will now bring in the members of our jury - Zach, Deaze, Goose, Clink and.... Nerf voted out at the last tribal council.
Zach, Deaze, Goose, Clink and Nerf walk in and take a seat at the jury bench.
$pecies: As mentioned after the challenge, things work slightly differently tonight. If you don't collectively pay up $8000, your vote won't be read one by one and the person with the highest number of votes would be announced directly. If there's a tie and we didn't get 8k or more, the vote count won't be revealed either.
Now, let’s talk about the game overall. If $urvivor is a rollercoaster, where are we on the ride right now?
↳ Sophie: Well $pecies, I think we’re on the part where we start to get a sick feeling in our stomachs, like nearing the end of the loops, or near the end of the fastest part of the ride.
↳ Jonas: I’d say everyone is on a different part of the ride. For some people they could be at the start about to take off after laying low for the whole game, for others it could be right in the middle of a bumpy ride, and for someone here tonight they’re at the end of their ride.
↳ Jessica: I think we’re at the very top of the roller coaster, about to fall into some very exhilarating gameplay hopefully.
↳ Borges: We probably are on the top level where everything is paranoia and we are spending the money we saved on the pre-merge, but are almost going down to being poor.
↳ Vikram: To be honest, I'm on a ride where it isn't a roller coaster, it’s just moving sideways and on the ground but not upwards… except sometimes where it goes to a meter high and then again comes down. But in my eyes, I see a large hill on the horizon, so I'm hoping this roller coaster works well enough to go to the top.
↳ Moss: The whole game has been a rollercoaster, especially going to all of these tribals, it will always be an up and down of emotions, never really knowing how things will turn out and it will only continue to be ups and downs as the game continues.
↳ Bloody: We’re in the spooky tunnel where you can’t really see anything and you’re not sure when you’re gonna get out and go upside down again but you can feel a major twist is about to happen.
↳ Simon: I've never been on a rollercoaster. And for me, we didn't really start our ride so far, but after this vote, everything will change because this vote is the most important vote in this $eason so far.
$pecies: Jonas, congratulations on winning your third immunity since the merge. Do you feel like you needed it this time? What are the dynamics of the tribe like?
↳ Jonas: Thanks for the congrats, $pecies. Do I feel like I needed it? There is no way for me to know until after the season is over. I didn’t think I needed it the last two times but I was wrong about those so I’m not even gonna predict if I needed it or not. The dynamics of this tribe are all over the place. I don’t think a group of people have voted together in back to back tribals successfully since the Zach and Deaze vote, and for the people on the bottom last vote, that may be a good thing and for the people not on the bottom last vote, they need to recognize that trend and move forward with that info if they want to stop it here for their collective benefit.
$pecies: Moss, as the saying goes, perception is reality - in terms of "threat level", are there players who are bigger "threats" than others? How does that affect your vote?
↳ Moss: I think threat level is an individual perception of what each person considers a threat. What one person considers a threat may not be what someone else considers a threat, so I think it's an individual decision in combination with other factors in the game.
$pecies: Bloody and Jessica, last round, three players voted for Jonas but Nerf was eventually voted out. Does everyone know who voted for whom? If so, is it safe to say that those who voted in the minority are in trouble this round, or is there more to the vote than that?
↳ Bloody: I think everyone has a general clue of who those votes were and why they were cast. But the idea of targeting someone for “voting wrong” is kind of lame and shortsighted. I cannot speak for the rest of the tribe, but I will at least say personally, that is not influencing my decision tonight.
↳ Jessica: Mhm, I’m pretty sure we all know who it was and yeah they probably are in danger as I was one of them and I know my name has been thrown around here. But who knows it’s $urvivor, things can change with just one thing whether it be a person, an idol, etc. So it will be fun to see how it turns out regardless.
$pecies: Borges and Sophie, one way or another, all members of Khutob 2.0 have been wiped out. 5 out of the last 6 boots were from Khutob 2.0 and the players left now are from either Qummah 2.0 or Sajid 2.0 - 4 players from each swap tribe. Is that something that you expect to affect the vote tonight? And how fluid or rigid do you think the game has been?
↳ Borges: I lowkey never remember about those tribes except when you ask me that kind of question. Right now, it’s looking like it’s very fluid and we are in the end game, we don’t expect people to still have that kumbaya vibe where you want to keep all your tribemates just for their last color buff.
↳ Sophie: To be honest, I think the game’s been relatively fluid, but incredibly rocky in that there are some people who do hold tight to some bonds whether they want to or realize it or not. But, generally, it’s been pretty fluid from my point of view.
$pecies: Simon and Vikram, we now have five jury members over there (points to the jury bench). Very soon, the number of jury members will outnumber the players left in the game. Is there anyone thinking about "jury management" now? What does "jury management" mean to you? How will that affect the vote?
↳ Simon: I'm sure that all 8 of us were thinking about jury management. Jury management is something you need to be good at playing this type of game because you need to eliminate people and still get them to vote for you in the end.
↳ Vikram: I mean jury management is a part of the process. You need not always think about it but we need to keep in mind that we should not piss the people that we vote off so that we can be at least in contention for their vote. I don’t know the meaning of jury management, because it has a lot of variables. I will just see it as "being in contention for their vote at the end". It won't affect the vote much to be honest.
$pecies: Thank you all for your answers. It’s time to vote. Jessica, you’re up first.
One by one, the players make their way to the voting booth to vote.
Jessica (votes against Sophie)
Traitor - You betrayed me and I know you’ll never feel sorry for the way I hurt.
Sophie (votes against Bloody)
Sorry boo thang, since we can’t exactly go for Borges, I guess you’re just collateral damage, like I am for Jonas.
Borges (votes against Moss)
Girl if you leaked and they play an idol, that's on you.
$pecies returns to the voting podium with the urn.
$pecies: If anyone has idol tokens and would like to play them, now would be the time to do so.
Everyone stares blankly.
$pecies: Alright. I guess no one is playing anything. Now the question is, will I need to pull out the votes from the urn to read them one by one? Any guesses as to how much in total was paid by you all to reveal the votes?
Jonas: $0
Vikram: $0?
Sophie: $0!!
$pecies: You’re spot on! None of you chose to pay us. I guess that has made my job here easier.
Unless there is a tie...
which I can now reveal that there isn't...
13th person voted out of $urvivor: $audi Arabia and the 6th member of our jury...
Sophie
Borges: GG, Sophie!
$pecies: Without revealing the vote count, Sophie, I'll need you to bring me your torch.
Sophie: GG loves. I kinda knew it.
Jonas: Shake my head, Simon.
Sophie: Jonas, love you man.
Jonas: Sorry that it didn't work out. ❤️❤️❤️ I’ll see you soon I bet.
Sophie leaves tribal council to head to the jury villa.
$pecies: Well, no one decided to pay to reveal the vote count. I guess blind votes are fun. With only 7 players left, always watch your back because you may not know when you would get backstabbed and by whom. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night!
FINAL WORDS
Sophie | 8th Place
I honestly am thankful as [bleep] I made it as far as I was able to, especially because I expected to go out way sooner and should have gone out way way sooner, with a cute ass vote tally against me. I was rivalling Jonas for most votes against me and then they finally killed me. A lot of this game I've been pretty disappointed with how I’ve played, as I haven't had much movement for myself, but hey a learning experience is a learning experience and I'm thankful I was able to have this opportunity. It was a great experience and I’m so glad I was a part of this group.
Sophie bequeaths $1900 to Jonas and $100 to Vikram.
